Shanghai Stationary “Queenmother of the West”

In ancient Chinese mythology, the Queenmother of the West is a mother godess, first mentioned as Western Mother. She is also known in other Asian countries and called many names: Divine Mother, Golden Mother of the Turtoise Mountain, Birthless Old Mother, Golden mother of the Jade Pond, Lady Queen Mother or simply Amah (Nanny).

Her palace on Mount Kunlun, a mythological place, is believed to be perfect and paradise-like, where she would be surrounded by godesses and female spirits.

She is believed to spend longevity, even immortalness, and prosperity by offering her Peaches of Immortality.

The mauve colour is warm and rich in the variety of undertones.
