GILDE book, buttonhole notebook, black and red, watercolor paper

One of a kind notebook made with covers of handmade pastepaper in black with gray dots and a red linnen spine.

The signatures are sewn by hand onto the cover with red linnen thread. This gives the book a unique decoration. The sewing method enables to open the pages completely flat.

The paper is 260 gr white textured watercolour paper, suitable for most dry media such as pencil, crayon and of course wet medias as watercolours, gouache, acrylic paint and inks. The paper has still its nice teckled edges.
